All-in-one compact diagnostic instrument UD-800
The UD-800 is an ophthalmology device with functions to retrieve ultrasound topographic images of living tissues. By using ultrasound waves generated from an ultrasound transducer built into the probe, the UD-800 retrieves A-mode waveforms and measures axial length and corneal thickness.
The main probe of the UD-800 is 10 MHz B-Scan, and UBM, Biometry, Pachymetry and A-Scan Diagnosis can be added as options. A wide variety of probes enables more accurate testing.
The function of the newly installed Harmonic function is to extract twofold frequencies from 10MHz ultrasound to create images. With this function, disorders such as vitreal bleeding, vitreous clouding and intraocular tumors are shown more clearly.
By using the membrane waterproof cap, fast and easy testing is possible. Thanks to this cap, patients are able to be examined in an upright position as well as lying down.
The patient data is stored in the UD-800, up to 52,000 eyes. Also a built-in printer means the captured images can be easily printed out.
